Why Canyon Point?

 

Canyon Point is a well maintained property in the center of San Antonio’s north side between 1604 and 410 on Henderson Pass.  It is comprised of 214 units built in 1985 and remodeled in 1998.  Canyon Point is an excellent value property with many nice amenities.

 

Canyon Point is in the Northeast school district and presently children go to the well regarded Thousand Oaks Elementary, Bradley Middle School and MacArthur High School.  Rental rates are moderate.

Please tell the on site leasing agent that you fund the apartment through Don Reser or Dons Apartments.  You are entitled to choose your representative.  We also need to be listed on your lease application, when you decide on your new home. The standard lease application in use in the San Antonio market (after many information questions) asks how you found out about their apartment property.  Specifically the form block is entitled “Why You Rented Here.”  You only have to write Don Reser in the first two blanks on the application.  You do not need or have to answer any other questions in that block of the application.  Your answer will not effect the results of your application or the cost of renting in any way.  If you are having trouble with the application or any other aspect of the leasing process, just call or email me for help (210 473-0999 or don@donsapartments.com).

The property has 24 hour emergency maintenance. There is a clubhouse and fitness center.  The grounds have picnic areas with barbeque grills.  There are clothes care centers.  The property has a hot tub Jacuzzi along with sparkling swimming pools.   The property is on the bus route for school pickup.  The property maintains social activities for residents.

 

Unit amenities include ceiling fans.  The kitchens have dishwashers, disposals, and frost free refrigerators with ice makers.  Select units have wood burning fireplaces.  There are outside storages spaces and the units have mini-blinds.  The kitchens have pantries with microwaves.   Units have either a patios or balcony.  Upstairs units have vaulted ceilings.

Policies:

 

The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30, Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 1 to 5.  Lease terms available are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 9, 10, 11, and 12 months.

 

Fees for renting include an application fee of $35 with deposits of $150 to $250 depending on unit size.  $50 of the deposit is non refundable.  You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.

 

There is no reserved parking, covered parking or garages. 

 

Pets are allowed with a $350 deposit per pet.  $150 the deposit is not refundable.  There is no pet rent and you are limited to one pets with a 25 pound per pet weight limit. 

 

The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, first time renters, and short term leases.  Trash and pest control fees are paid by the property.  There is a charge to the renter for water and sewer.

 

Directions:

 

From 281 North, take the Donella-Henderson Pass exit. Go east 1-1/2 miles on Henderson Pass. Canyon Point is located on the left just past the Turkey Point intersection.

If CANYON POINT is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984.  I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard.  You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused.  (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.)  I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way.  We have two databases to look at properties.

 

My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place.  If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price.  Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
