The engineers and architects painstakingly planned The Estates at Lookout Canyon. Each home is designed in concert with nature by conserving energy with additional weather stripping, insulation and dual-pane low-E windows. Air conditioners are 13 SEER with programmable thermostats which use 30% less energy than current industry standard. Even concrete streets were poured to reduce the use of oil-based products such as asphalt.

Standards are well above the industry to ensure comfort in extreme weather conditions. Respect for our environment and energy conservation are one of our top priorities.

Polices:

 

The office hours are Monday through Friday 8 to 8, Saturday 8 to 8 and Sunday 10 to 7. Lease terms available are 6, 7, 8, and 9, 10, 11, and 12 months.

 

Fees for renting include an application fee of $50 with deposits ranging from $200 to $300 depending on the apartment size. $100 to $150 of the deposit is not refundable. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.

 

Pets are allowed with a $300 to $500 deposit per pet depending on size and type of pet. $150 to $250 of the deposit is not refundable. There is no pet rent and you are limited to two pets with a 60 pound per pet weight limit. Certain breeds are restricted.

 

The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, first time renters and short term leases. Pest control fees are paid by the property. There is a charge to the renter for water, sewer and trash.

 

Directions:

 

Drive North on Hwy 281, and take the turn around at Bulverde Rd. Drive South on Hwy 281 to Lookout Canyon Subdivision (Overlook Pkwy), and turn right. The Estates at Lookout Canyon is on your left.

My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.

 

My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place.
