The Landing is just down and off Harry Wurzbach from the main entrance to Ft. Sam Houston.
The apartments were built in 1982. There are 216 units. The property accepts short term leases.
Children presently attend Wilshire Elementary, Garner Middle School, and MacArthur High School of the Northeast Independent School District.

Property Amenities:
The property has 24 hour emergency maintenance. There is a clubhouse and swimming pool. There are access gates and a perimeter fence. There are clothes care centers. Some units are handicap modified. Park and ride is nearby.
Unit Amenities:
Unit amenities include nine foot ceilings, ceiling fans with mini-blinds for window treatments. The kitchens have pantries, frost free refrigerators, dishwashers, and disposals. Select units have wood burning fireplaces, outside storage, walk in closets, ceramic tile, vaulted ceilings, and a patio or balcony. The units are pre-wired for cable television, telephone, and high speed internet service.

Policies:
The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30, Saturday 10 to 5, and Sunday 1 to 5. Lease terms available are 3, 6, and 12 months.
Fees for renting include an application fee of from $35 to $45 with a deposit requirement of from $100 to $200. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
Pets are allowed with a $250 to $600 per pet deposit. $350 of the deposit is not refundable. There is a $5 per month pet rent and you are limited to two pets under 80 pounds in weight. Certain breeds are restricted.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers and first time renters.
Trash and pest control fees are paid by the property. There is a charge to the tenants for water and sewer.
Directions:
From Loop 410, exit Harry Wurzbach and proceed south 2 mi to NE Parkway, turn left. The landing is on the corner of NE Parkway and Harry Wurzbach.

If THE LANDING is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day. We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town. If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
