Why Lodge at Westover?
The Lodge at Westover is truly one of San Antonio’s unique properties. It was build by premier luxury builder Hanover. It is located in the Southwest corner of the city off 151 at the Hyatt Resort Drive Exit. It is directly across from Sea World of Texas and adjacent to the Hyatt Hill Country Resort. The property is near by major employers Lackland, NSA, Northwest Vista College, Philips, Chase, World Savings, Citicorp, Oberthur Gaming Technology, Takata Seatbelt, and QVC. It features a resort style game room with billiards, movie theatre, bar, sports televisions and shuffleboard. The exercise room has both a cardio floor and weight room. The shared clubhouse facilities represent a true clubhouse.

Please tell the on site leasing agent that you fund the apartment through Don Reser or Dons Apartments. You are entitled to choose your representative. We also need to be listed on your lease application, when you decide on your new home. The standard lease application in use in the San Antonio market (after many information questions) asks how you found out about their apartment property. Specifically the form block is entitled “Why You Rented Here.” You only have to write Don Reser in the first two blanks on the application. You do not need or have to answer any other questions in that block of the application. Your answer will not effect the results of your application or the cost of renting in any way. Amenities:
The property consists of 334 units built in 2002 by the Hanover Company. There is a resort style pool and luxury clubhouse. The Clubhouse features a game room with billiards shuffle board and multiple televisions to watch sporting events. There is a cardio room and fitness center. There is a complete surround sound theatre. The property is gated and has detached garages. There are breezeways across from the garages along with carports and storage rooms.
There are elegant archways in select plans. All units have refrigerators with icemakers. They are black on black appliances in kitchens designed with premium stained cabinetry. The kitchens include microwaves and dishwashers and have track lightning. There are pass throughs and breakfast bars. The property features garden tubs, slate tile flooring, vertical blinds, nine foot ceilings, crown molding and oversized walk in closets. There are ceiling fans in all bedrooms. The entry doors are made of steel with viewers. There are oversized balconies. The units have a fire sprinkler system installed. There are full size washer and dryers along with computer desks and libraries in the units.

Policies:
The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:00 to 6:00, Saturday 9 to 5 and Sunday 12 to 5. Lease terms available are 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12.
Fees for renting include an application fee of $35 per person or 35 married. Deposits are $200, $300 or $400 depending on the apartment size. $50 to $150 of the deposit is not refundable. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
There is no reserved parking. There are car ports available for rent at $25 per month and attached and detached garages are also available. Garages rent for $85 per month.
Pets are allowed with a $150 to $200 deposit per pet depending on size and type of pet. $150 to $250 of the deposit is not refundable. There is no pet rent and you are limited to two pets. Certain pets are restricted by breed.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, first time renters, and short term leases. Pest control fees are paid by the property. There is a charge to the renter for water and sewer.
Directions:
The Lodge at Westover Hills is off 151 to the north along Hyatt Resort Drive @151. It can be reached by taking 151 East from 1604. At the Military Drive exit, cross over 151 and come back down the access road to Hyatt Resort Drive. From Loop 410 take 151 west and exit Military Drive. Follow the access road to Hill Country Resort Drive; turn on Hill Country Resort Drive, the property is on the left.

If Lodge at Westover is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day. We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town. If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
Finding a new apartment ranks up there with going to the dentist for no fun, but I can contribute my extensive knowledge of the city and the experiences of the other customers to help you.
