Mirada is near the intersection of Bitters and 281.  It is a luxury apartment on West Avenue.  The property has one and two bedroom apartments.  The apartments were built in 1986 and there are 208 units.

 

Children presently attend Valley Hi Elementary, Rayburn Middle School, and Jay High School of the Northside Independent School District.

You do not need or have to answer any other questions in that block of the application. Your answer will not effect the results of your application or the cost of renting in any way. The property has 24 hour emergency maintenance.  There is a clubhouse, coffee bar, and video library.  There is a perimeter fence and access gate.  There is a swimming pool, hot tub spa, and barbeque grill and picnic area. There is a fitness center with personal trainers and a sauna.  There is a business center with high speed internet.  There is school bus pickup.  There are clothes care centers.  There are detached garages, reserved parking and covered parking.

 

Unit Amenities:

 

Unit amenities include nine foot ceilings with crown molding, ceiling fans, and mini-blinds for window treatments.  The kitchens have pantries, frost free refrigerators with ice makers, dishwashers, disposals, and microwaves.  Select units have garden tubs, built in bookshelves, ceramic tile, vaulted ceilings, walk in closets, outside storage, and a patio or balcony.  The units are pre-wired for cable television, telephone, and high speed internet service.

 

Washer dryers are available for rental.

 

Policies:

 

The office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 9 to 6, Wednesdays 9 to 7, Saturday 10 to 5 and Sunday 1 to 5.  Lease terms available are 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, and 13 months.

 

Fees for renting include an application fee of from $25 to $45 with a deposit requirement of from $150 to $350.  $75 of the deposit is not refundable.  You need to make 3 times the rent or have a co-signer that makes this qualification.

 

Washer dryers are available for rental at $35 per month.

 

Pets are allowed with a $300 per pet deposit.  $150 of the deposit is not refundable.  There is a $10 per month pet rent and you are limited to two pets under 99 pounds in weight.  Certain breeds are restricted.

 

The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers and first time renters.

 

There is a senior discount.

 

The property accepts short term leases.

 

Pest control and trash removal is paid by the property.  There is a charge to the tenants for water and sewer.

Take 281 North to Bitters Road; turn left on Bitters under 281 to West Avenue.  Turn left on West Avenue.  Mirada is on the right.

If MIRADA is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984.  I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard.  You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused.  (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.)  I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way.  We have two databases to look at properties.

 

My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place.  If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price.  Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
