The apartment complex was built in 1970 and renovated in 1998. There are 172 units.
Children presently attend Woodlawn Hills Elementary, Longfellow Middle School, and Jefferson High School of the San Antonio Independent School District.

Property Amenities:
There is 24 hour emergency maintenance. There is a swimming pool. There is perimeter fence with controlled access entry. There are clothes care centers, There are social activities. There are barbeque grills and picnic areas.
Unit Amenities:
Units have nine foot ceilings and mini-blinds for window treatments. The kitchens have disposals, panties, and frost free refrigerators. There are balconies or patios and walk in closets. The units are pre-wired for cable television, telephone and high speed internet service. The units have intrusion alarms.
Policies:
The office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 to 6:00, and Saturday 10 to 5 and closed on Sunday. Lease terms available are 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, 11, and 12 months.
Fees for renting include an application fee of $25. There is a refundable deposit requirement of $200 to $300. You need to make two and one half times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
Pets are allowed with a $300 deposit per pet. $150 of the deposit is not refundable. There is no per month per pet rent and you are limited to two pets with a 20 pound weight limit. Certain breeds are restricted.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers and first time renters.
This is an All Bills Paid type property where electricity, natural gas, trash, water, sewer and pest control are paid for by the property. Cable, telephone, and internet are at the expensive of the tenant.

From I-410 W/I-410 Loop West, take Exit number 15 - toward Fredericksburg Road/Balconies Heights/Loop 345. Turn left (south) onto Fredericksburg Road//Texas -345 Spur South. Turn right onto Hillcrest Drive. Continue to follow Hillcrest Drive until you reach Bandera Road. Turn left on Bandera Road Texas 421 spur. The property is on the right.

If OAKS ON BANDERA is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day.
