The apartments were built in 1982 and remodeled in 2000 and there are 466 units.  This property has many amenities and features of new apartment construction.

The property has 24 hour emergency maintenance.  There is a perimeter fence and access gate.  There is fitness center and sports court.  There is a swimming pool and volleyball court.  There is a clubhouse and coffee bar.  There is a business center and high speed internet.  There is school bus pickup.  There is a picnic area and barbeque grills.  There are clothes care centers.

 

Unit Amenities:

 

Unit amenities include crown molding, ceiling fans with mini-blinds for window treatments.  The kitchens have pantries, frost free refrigerators with ice makers, dishwashers, and disposals.  Select units have built in vaulted ceilings, bookcases, walk in closets, wood burning fireplaces, outside storage, and a patio or balcony.  The units are pre-wired for cable television, telephone, and high speed internet service.

 

Short term leases are accepted.

 

There are corporate or furnished apartments for rent.

 

Washer dryers are available for rental.

 

Policies:

 

The office hours are Monday through Friday 9 to 6, Saturday 10 to 5, and Sunday 1 to 5.  Lease terms available are 3, 6, 7, 8, and 9, 10, 11, and 12 months.

 

Fees for renting include an application fee of $35 with a deposit requirement of from $100 to $300.  $50 of the deposit is not refundable.  You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.

 

Pets are allowed with a $300 per pet deposit.  $150 of the deposit is not refundable.  There is a no per month pet rent and you are limited to two pets under 35 pounds in weight.  Certain breeds are restricted.

 

The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers and first time renters.

 

The property accepts short terms leases.

 

The property has furnished apartments.

 

Pest control fees are paid by the property.  There is a charge to the tenants for trash, water, and sewer.

 

Directions:

 

Drive north on US 281 to Thousand Oaks Drive.  Turn right on Thousand Oaks Drive and the property is one mile down on the right.

If SUNSET CANYON is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984.  I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard.  You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused.  (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.)  I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way.  We have two databases to look at properties.

 

My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place.  If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price.  Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.

 

Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live.  I can assure you we can get it done in one day.  We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town.  If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
