Why should I make Tanglewood my new apartment home?
Tanglewood is an excellent
choice for its roomy style and comfortable features. It is in the Alamo Heights
School and next door to Sunset Ridge and its many fine restaurants and shops.
Tanglewood represents a great rental bargain in that it has location, room and value
pricing on a square foot basis.
As the brochure from Tanglewood states, “Tanglewood Apartment Homes also achieves excellence in terms of location. Situated Tanglebriar, you are virtually minutes way from the city’s most impressive and important centers, as well as world class dining shipping and major freeways.” The property’s assets include “versatile floors have spacious designs, generous amenities and lushly landscaped courtyards accented with beautiful old oak trees.”
Tanglewood was built in 1062 and has 98 units. Students attend Woodridge, and Alamo Heights Junior and High School.

Please tell the on site leasing agent that you found the apartment through Don Reser or Dons Apartments. You are entitled to choose your representative. We also need to be listed on your lease application when you decide on your new home. The standard lease application in use (after many informational questions) asks how you found the apartment. Specifically the form block is entitled “Why You Rented Here.” The application lists a number of alternatives. You only have to write Don Reser in the first two blanks on the application. You do not need or have to answer any other questions in that block of the application. This will not effect your application in anyway. If you are having trouble with the application or any other aspect of the leasing process, just call or email for help (210 473-0999 or don@donsapartments.com).

Outside storage is available. Tanglewood is on the Alamo Heights school bus route. There is a sports court and two sparkling swimming pools. Tanglewood has 24 hour emergency maintenance.
Individual units may feature bay windows and wet bars. There are patios and balconies. The units have eat-in kitchens that are fully equipped electric kitchens with self cleaning ovens, dishwashers, disposals and frost free refrigerators with icemakers. The kitchens have spacious cabinets, countertops, and pantries. There are ceiling fans and mini-blinds. The units have walk in closets and linen closets. Cable television is pre wired. Some units have bookshelves.
Policies:
The office hours are Monday
through Friday 8:30 to 5:30, Saturday by appointment and closed Sunday. Lease
terms available are 3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12 and 13 months.
Fees for renting include an application fee of $35 with deposit of $150 to $300 of which $50 in not refundable. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
There is no reserved parking. Covered parking is available.
Pets are allowed with a $300 deposit per pet. $150 of the deposit is not refundable. There is no pet rent and you are limited to two pets with a 35 pound per pet weight limit.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, first time renters, and short term leases. Trash and pest control fees are paid by the property. There is a charge to the renter for water and sewer.
The property does offer a senior citizen discount.
Directions:
From Loop 410 West take the Broadway exit south; turn left on Sunset until it reaches New Braunfels Avenue. Turn right on New Braunfels and take New Braunfels to Brees. Turn right on Brees; we are the pink brick property on the left.

If TANGLEWOOD is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day.
