Why should you consider Towers @ Majestic as your new home?
The Towers @ Majestic are
without question one of San Antonio’s unique properties. To me the most interesting
thing about them is there location as part of the Majestic Theatre. The Majestic
Theatre is one of America’s original Vaudeville Palaces from the 1920’s. Bob Hope
reminisced about his days playing the Majestic on the vaudeville circuit during
the 20 and 30s at his 1968 performance at the Hemisfair Arena. The arena was built
as part of San Antonio’s 1968 Worlds Fair. The paradox is that the Arena, which
became the first home of the San Antonio Spurs, has been torn down and yet the Majestic
survives. The Majestic complex was always a mixed use development with the theater,
office and residences. The original penthouse residence remains today and is available
to rent. The offices have been converted into residences as has the adjacent Brady
Building to create the Towers @ Majestic. They are spectacular downtown residences.
There are only 97 units and each is unique.

The unique environment that is "downtown San Antonio" is the playground for the Towers' residents. Over 150 eating and drinking establishments, the famous San Antonio Riverwalk, the Alamo, Rivercenter Mall and the Alamodome are all within easy walking distance. Without ever leaving the Majestic Tower, tenants can enjoy the historic 2,500-seat Majestic Theatre, home of the San Antonio Symphony, numerous touring Broadway plays and musicals, and other national productions. The Majestic Club, a private dining club, with direct access into the Theatre, occupies the entire third floor of the Majestic Tower. The residents and guests of the Towers at the Majestic have dining privileges at the Majestic Club.
Located on six acres of sun-bathed courtyards, sparkling fountains and lush green gardens in the middle of downtown San Antonio, the Plaza San Antonio (a Marriott Hotel) offers a private Club Membership plan for the Towers' residents, including unlimited use of their outdoor swimming pool, whirlpool, lighted tennis courts, men's and women's saunas, and exercise equipment. Their extensive recreational and exercise facilities include: barbells, treadmills, multi-station circuit trainer, exercise bicycles, step machines, quad pulley machine, showers, towels, and changing rooms with lockers. Membership also includes signing privileges for food and beverage at a 20% savings, self-parking, invitations to special events, and other complimentary extras for private members.
City Market Convenience and Deli, located at the corner of Houston and St. Mary's Street across from the Brady Tower, features a grocery line which includes fresh fruits, meats and vegetables, canned goods, and staple items. The Deli features sandwiches, salads, soups, meats, cheeses, party trays, gift baskets and wines. The Pecan Street market and Deli on the corner of Pecan and St. Mary's - two blocks from the Towers, offers staples, fancy canned goods, exotic fresh produce, caviar, and reasonably priced imported beer and fine wine. Walgreen's grocery section, which includes refrigerated and frozen items, is located one-half block away on the corner of Houston and Navarro.
Infant and child care is available at three neighborhood daycare centers. St. Mary's Grammar School (grades pre-K through 8th) is right around the corner, and five major and specialized hospitals are found in the downtown area, including the 24-hour Health Care Center at the Nix Hospital, located one-half block from The Towers. Also in the Nix Hospital is the Pill Box, a full-service pharmacy with delivery service. Two other downtown pharmacies will also deliver. Two dental clinics and numerous other services and amenities are located within walking or Trolley-ride distance from The Towers. Other nearby services include the San Antonio Symphony and Majestic Theatre ticket offices (located in the Majestic Tower), the YMCA, Eckerd and Walgreen's Drug Stores, the San Antonio Shoe Hospital, Alamo City Tailor, Alamo Plaza Spa, The Market Square and The Farmers' Market, the San Antonio Main Library, post offices, banks, government offices, and the Alamodome and Convention Center.

Please tell the on site leasing agent that you fund the apartment through Don Reser or Dons Apartments. You are entitled to choose your representative. We also need to be listed on your lease application, when you decide on your new home. The standard lease application in use in the San Antonio market (after many information questions) asks how you found out about their apartment property. Specifically the form block is entitled “Why You Rented Here.” You only have to write Don Reser in the first two blanks on the application. You do not need or have to answer any other questions in that block of the application. Your answer will not effect the results of your application or the cost of renting in any way. Amenities:
The two high-rise Towers offer spacious apartments with modern layouts and multiple windows, providing spectacular views of downtown San Antonio. Studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom floor plan variations are available in both Towers. These designs incorporate modern all-electric (10% C.P.S. discount) kitchens with refrigerator, stove, dishwasher and garbage disposal; wall-to-wall carpeting; large closets; pre-wiring for cable TV; and washer/dryer connections and ice makers in the larger apartments. Twenty-four hour on-call maintenance is available, as is concierge service. Trash pickup outside each apartment door is provided Monday through Saturday.
Residents are provided a computer-coded card, required for elevator access to the residential floors. Visitors must call residents via a phone in the vestibule, and an electronic door-release is activated from the resident's phone to allow visitors access to the main lobby in each Tower. Visitors are unable to access the residential floors without a security card, and therefore must be accompanied by the resident to their apartment. Surveillance cameras are installed in both Towers at the entry/exit points, and can be monitored by every resident via cable TV (channel 6) to verify each caller before allowing access to the main lobby (via door-release). Smoke alarms and sprinkler systems are provided in all units and corridors for the residents' safety. In addition, the San Antonio Police Department's Downtown Foot Patrol Headquarters is located at Street Level, and a resident officer is on 24-hour call.
Adjacent covered parking
at preferred parking rates is available in the ten-story, 910 space, city-owned
Mid City Garage, with direct access into the Majestic Tower.
The resident's rate is $45 a month for unlimited computer-card access parking (regular
rate is $70.00). The Mid City Garage is shown in the photo labeled #1.
The high-rise parking garage is directly attached to the Majestic Tower (#2), allowing access (via security access fob) from the 7th floor of the garage to the 6th floor of the Majestic Tower. A passenger drop-off area is also located at the front entrance (222 East Houston Street) to the Majestic Tower, along the canopied sidewalk area (#4). The Brady Tower is shown in the photo at the far right, labeled #3. During regular business hours, package delivery acceptance for residents and tenants is available at the main office (Majestic Tower - 6th Floor - Suite 600).

Policies:
The office hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 to 5:00 and they are closed Saturday and Sunday. The minimum lease is 12 months.
Fees for renting include an application fee of $35. Deposits range from $475 to $5,000 and are equal to one months rent. The deposit is refundable. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
Cats are allowed (neutered and declawed; only one per apartment) with a $500 non-refundable pet fee (sorry, no dogs are allowed). Smoking is allowed with signed agreement and $300 non-refundable smoking fee.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, and first time renters. Pest control fees are paid by the property.

San Antonio is the Number ONE tourist spot in Texas. The downtown area caters to this immense tourism industry, and is the chief focal point of visitors to the City. The prime location of the Towers at the Majestic, in the center of all the downtown "action", provides residents with an almost inexhaustable list of things to do, places to go, and attractions to see. In the Majestic Tower, the historic Majestic Theatre offers patrons the opportunity to see major Broadway shows, plays, and top-name performers, as well as our own San Antonio Symphony. Just 1/2 block away is Travis Park, home of the summer Jazz Festival and food carnival. Three blocks east of the Towers is the famous Alamo, one block east of the Towers is the Buckhorn Saloon & Museum and the Children's Museum, and six blocks southeast is HemisFair Plaza, La Villita, the Convention Center Exhibit Hall and the Rivercenter Mall.
Over 150 eating and drinking establishments are located on the San Antonio Riverwalk - 1/2 block from the Towers - providing an endless supply of food, fun and music. Located on the Riverwalk, just behind the Towers, is the famous Planet Hollywood (visible from the upper-floor apartments), and the Presidio Restaurant. Right next door is the Hard Rock Cafe, in the same building as Fat Tuesday's, Paesano's, and The County Line Bar-B-Que. Right across the river is Dick's Last Resort, as well as Polly Esther's, The Bayous, Tequila Charlie's Seafood, and Mad Dogs British Pub - all featuring live music on weekend nights. As you can see, there's so much to do in such a small area, that it’s impossible to put it ALL on a map! If TOWERS@MAJESTIC is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day. We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town. If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
