Why
Ventana? Ventana is a beautiful property in a lovely wooded area in the
Interstate 10 and Huebner area of San Antonio. The I10/Huebner area is
adjacent to USAA and
in between the Medical Center area (a collection of hospitals, doctor’s offices
and the University of Texas Health Science
Center) and UTSA. Ventana is directly
across from the Strand and Huebner Oaks shopping centers, which house
everything from an AMC 24 screen
theatre to a California Pizza Kitchen
to a La
Madeleine with Pier One Imports
and The Gap to Men’s
Wearhouse, Banana
Republic and Ann Taylor in
between. Down the street are Target, HEB (our major San Antonio grocery store), and Barnes
and Nobles and another major theatre, the Regal Fiesta Square 16,

Amenities:
Ventana apartment units feature 9 foot ceilings with crown molding in the living areas. The units are equipped with intrusions alarms. There are ceiling fans in every bedroom. The kitchen comes with frost free refrigerators with ice makers. The units have fireplaces, breakfast nooks and decorator selected accents. Bathrooms feature twin vanities or garden tubs. Covered parking and direct access garages are available.
There is a fitness center, community clothes care center, convenient mail gazebo and two resort style pools.
Policies:
Ventana is open Monday through Friday 9:00 to 6:00, Saturday 10 to 6 and Sunday 1 to 5. Lease terms available are 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 months.
Fees for renting include an application fee of $40 for single occupants and $50 for a joint application. Deposits range from $150 to $300 depending on the size of the apartment. You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.
There is no reserved parking. Carports are available for a charge of $20 per month. Assigned garages are available at a cost of $75 per month.
Washer dryers may be rented from the property at a cost of $35 per moth. Extra storage units are available at a cost of $20 per month.
Pets are allowed with a $300 deposit per pet. $150 of the deposit is not refundable. There is no pet rent and you are limited to two pets with a 80 pound per pet weight limit. Only certain dog breeds are allowed.
The property is gated and there is a one time deposit of $50 for a remote gate key. There is a one time redecorating fee of $50 for one bedrooms and $75 for two and three bedroom apartments.
The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, and first time renters. Pest control fees are paid by the property. There is a charge to the renter for water, sewer and trash. There is a discount for senior citizens.
Directions:
Take the Huebner exit off Interstate 10 to the east (head right if coming from 410 and left under the Interstate if coming from 1604). We are down Huebner one block on the left at the corner of Huebner and Huebner Oaks.

If Ventana is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984. I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard. You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused. (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.) I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way. We have two databases to look at properties.
My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place. If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price. Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.
Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live. I can assure you we can get it done in one day. We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town. If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
Finding a new apartment ranks up there with going to the dentist for no fun, but I can contribute my extensive knowledge of the city and the experiences of the other customers to help you.
