Why Windrush?

 

Built in 1973 Windrush has 89 unique units.  It is a great value with a good management company.  As an all bills paid property, you get the advantage of commercial electric rates passed through to you in savings.  Windrush is located in north central San Antonio, and has great access to the entire north side of San Antonio from the Medical Center to Stone Oak.

 

Children presently attend Larkspur Elementary, Jackson Middle School, and Lee High School of the Northeast Independent School District.

Amenities:

 

The property consists of 89 units built in 1973.  There is 24 hour emergency maintenance.  Property amenities include a swimming pool and club house.  There is school bus pickup, park and ride nearby, and public transportation.  There is a barbeque grill and picnic area.  There is a clothes care center.  The property has a perimeter fence.   Covered parking is available. 

 

Kitchens have dishwashers, disposals and frost free refrigerators along with a pantry.  The windows have mini-blinds for treatment.  There are walk in closets.  All units have either a patio or balcony.

 

Policies:

 

The office hours are Monday through Friday 8:30 to 5:30, Saturday 10 to 5 and closed Sunday.  Lease terms available are 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 13, 14, 15, 16,17,18,19, 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24 months.

 

Fees for renting include an application fee of $30 with deposits ranging from $300 to $400 depending on the apartment size.  You need to make three times the rent or have a co-signer that meets this qualification.

 

There is no reserved parking.  Covered parking is available at a cost of $20 per month.

 

Pets are allowed with a $150 deposit per pet.  $150 of the deposit is not refundable.  There is a $10 per month pet rent and you are limited to two pets with a 20 pound per pet weight limit.  Certain breeds are restricted.

 

The apartment does check your credit; accept co-signers, first time renters, and short term leases.  All utility bills are paid by the property except for telephone, internet, and cable.

 

There is a senior discount.

If WINDRUSH is not the apartment for you, then please consider telling me more about what you want and need. My name is Don Reser and I have been involved with real estate since 1984.  I consider myself the very best locator in San Antonio and I CAN HELP YOU, but I need you to HELP ME. Unless you are willing to allow me to help you by giving me the time to show you personally at least three apartments, it is really going to be hard.  You are welcome to look around on your own, but generally it is inefficient and you will become tired and confused.  (There are 700 commercial properties in San Antonio.)  I will send you an email list of properties with directions to help you look on your own, and you are welcome to use my help this way.  We have two databases to look at properties.

 

My experience is that it takes about 4 hours of viewing with an experienced locator at a minimum to find the right place.  If you invest 8 hours with me, I will be able to show you at least two places you would want to rent at for your price.  Okay so spend all the time you want on your own and then when you really want to get the job done, call me.

 

Because of the internet I know that many of you are moving from out of town and are very anxious about finding a place to live.  I can assure you we can get it done in one day.  We need to make an appointment for the day you are in town.  If you have to know ahead of time, you will need to fly in and I will assist you in evaluating all your leasing options in one day.
